Allen St. John, original red cloth front front and spine stamped in black, top edge stained green. Later edition. Book eleven of the Tarzan series. Heins LJ-5. Luke, Bibliography of the Grosset & Dunlap Reprints TLJ-?, this copy does not conform to any of the Luke book variants, as it has five inserted plates instead of four, it is closest to his TLJ-2c, though the title page does not identify St. John as the illustrator as the copies without plates were produced.
