First edition. Signed on the half title page by Gerda Maurus, the film's leading actress and a lover of filmmaker Fritz Lang. Von Harbou co-wrote the screenplay for the film with her husband Fritz Lang. This novel was published in conjunction with the film release. An espionage thriller. One plate, trimmed a bit short, is supplied from another copy, slight spine lean, a very good copy in very good art deco dust jacket with light wear, mostly at spine ends and corner tips, and two closed tears along flap folds.
