Weber was also a member of The Baker Street Irregulars and a book reviewer, sometimes using the byline "Judge Lynch." Derleth's third book and first collection of short fiction. Collects four linked novelettes: "Five Alone," "Faraway House," "Nine Strands in a Web" and "Place of Hawks." Dark, somber stories of madness, death and decay; Midwestern Gothic.
