First edition. The Doubleday, Doran edition includes a novelette, "The Case of the Late Pig," and two stories, "The Case of the Man with the Sack" and "The Case of the Pro and the Con," not included in the UK edition published two years later by Heinemann as MR. Spine ends slightly bumped, offsetting to pages 110-111 from what was likely a newspaper clipping originally laid in, a fine copy in a nearly fine price clipped dust jacket with a bit of very light edge rubbing and mild wear to spine ends and corner tips, 22 mm closed tear to upper front panel and a short closed tear to lower rear panel.
