This issue features "The Airlords of Han" by Philip Francis Nowlan, the second story with Anthony "Buck" Rogers. The character would achieve much fame in the form of the comic strip which had immense popularity and much like Star Trek and Star Wars helped popularize science fiction to a broader audience. The cover of this issue features Buck Rogers, unlike the the August 1928 which is many assume to be Buck Rogers, but is not.
